Samuels Charity exists to support children and young people who are dying or in long term care in hospital or at home.

We work to add value to underfunded NHS provision and fund and project manage the transformation of the child’s experience in the ward, in their homes, and to support their parents too.

We aim to make a difficult and painful experience less scary, and support better care and recovery where possible.

The formal objective of the Charity as stated within our constitution and agreed with the Charities Commission is:

“The relief of sickness amongst children and of those in need by reason of ill health, through
injury or abuse, by the provision of auxiliary services aimed at increasing patients’ welfare
and providing support to patients’ families, including, but not limited to the provision of
equipment, amenities for patients, their families and medical staff.”
