About your GoTo Expert

Hello, my name is Alex Everitt, I’m a McTimoney Chiropractor, Sports Massage Therapist, and Personal Trainer based in Newport Pagnell, near Milton Keynes.

I am a passionate fitness and movement enthusiast, and currently, my joy comes from playing over 30’s ladies’ football with MK United. You might also recognize me from my performance on series 2 of UK Ninja Warrior, where I proudly reached the semi-finals. From an early age, I have always embraced an active lifestyle, constantly seeking ways to keep moving and encouraging others to do the same.

My love for “movement” takes various forms, whether it’s engaging in sports, hitting the gym, taking leisurely walks with my dogs, or even through my work. Beyond my enthusiasm for physical activity, I am equally devoted to people and fostering a sense of community and unity.

This deep-rooted passion led me to pursue a career as a Chiropractor, Sports Massage Therapist, and Personal Trainer. My goal is to break down any barriers that hinder our ability to move freely and feel fantastic.

Benefits of Sports Therapy

Our Sports massages are designed to help your body recover from daily stresses to make you feel restored and renewed.

Sports massages are proven to release and reduce tension in muscles, improve circulation, encourage the removal of waste products such as lactic acid during high-intensity activity, and help your body relax. All of this helps promote recovery and reduces the chance of muscle injury.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger pointing aims to relieve pain and muscle tightness and help return the physiological function of muscles. A trigger point is a small area of irritability located within a muscle or fascia tissue. Trigger points are painful and tender to touch. Trigger points develop following trauma or when tension develops, and tissues are held in a shortened position over a period of time. Pressure is applied directly to trigger points to help diminish pain and release fresh blood.

Mobilisations and Manipulations

In mobilisation, the therapist slowly moves the joint within its normal range of movement. Manipulation therapy, on the other hand, involves using short, sharp movements to push a joint beyond its normal range of movement. This is also known as an ‘adjustment’.

Reviews:

“I recently had a deep tissue massage with Alex and couldn’t recommend her more! She is absolutely brilliant. I live two hours away and happy to drive the distance as it’s 100% worth it!”
“Alex is amazing! So so knowledgable and makes you feel so warm, welcome and comfortable. She did an amazing job tackling the pain in my arm which meant I didn’t have to miss any work. Her space is calming and cosy and all very clean and professional. She’s a wonderfully talented lady with lots of experience and knowledge to share to help people out of pain and keep their bodies happy! Can’t recommend enough. I’m definitely going to be a returning customer for the foreseeable.”
